Haskoning is strengthening its capabilities in Belgium, offering food and beverage companies access to an experienced local engineering team with end-to-end project delivery capabilities.

Operating from its office in Destelbergen, the Belgium-based team supports food producers across the full lifecycle of engineering projects, from early concept development to detailed engineering, execution support, and commissioning. This end-to-end approach enables clients to rely on a single partner for complex projects, ensuring efficiency and continuity throughout.

With around 80 specialists across Belgium and the Netherlands, the team combines deep sector knowledge with a pragmatic, tailored approach specifically designed for the food and beverage industry. Clients benefit from hands-on support focused on delivering practical solutions that fit their operational needs.

Now fully operating under the Haskoning name, formerly known as Uticon, the team brings expanded capabilities to the Belgian market. In addition to plant engineering, clients can access broader expertise including building design and building technologies, supply chain optimisation, water management, and advanced digital tools such as simulations and digital twins.

This combination of local presence and international expertise allows Haskoning to support projects of all sizes, from targeted optimisations to large-scale, international developments, while maintaining close collaboration and clear communication with clients.

Looking ahead, Haskoning is investing further in Belgium, with plans to grow its team and open a second office to increase proximity to key industrial regions.
