Our client needed to extend the malt intake at their brewery so it could accept a range of raw materials. Our activities ranged from permitting to building & utilities design and process integration. The challenge in the project was the time schedule and location.
Expertise in process integration was pivotal in the successful expansion of the brewery’s capabilities. We managed to navigate the intricacies of local regulations, adapt our designs to fit the unique space, and synchronise the new processes with the brewery’s established workflow, all within the tight schedule.
We set up a local team drawing on support from our South African office. The combination of local on-the-ground knowledge from our local partners with international expertise enabled us to fast-track activities. We engaged our local partners for architectural design, permit applications and environmental reports.
The cornerstone of our service was process integration, ensuring that each step, from initial design to final execution, was seamlessly interconnected. Our commitment to this integrated process was pivotal in meeting our objectives. This strategy not only accelerated the process but also assured a standard of quality and consistency achievable only through such collaborative efforts.
Drawing on the expertise of our suppliers, we successfully integrated the design, processes, equipment, and utilities, including power and air systems. Through strong project management and by taking ownership of the challenge, we achieved the completion of the new intake system on-time and within budget.
This project was marked by a harmonious blend of supplier insights and our strategic planning. The collaboration was key to aligning the various components, ensuring operational fluidity from start to finish. Our team’s dedication to this unified approach resulted in a smooth transition to the enhanced system.
