Haskoning Innovation & Education Fund partners with TU Delft to accelerate independent research
We are happy to announce a significant milestone in our commitment to advancing research, innovation, and education: the signing of a framework donation agreement with Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) and the Delft University Fund. This marks the official first step of the Haskoning Innovation & Education Fund. This fund was established as a commitment to our purpose of Enhancing Society Together and to accelerate independent research and drive innovation with an initial focus on climate resilience and water technology. 12.5% of our net profit each year is gifted towards the fund.
Launching a multi-year collaboration
The framework agreement concerns a multi-year collaboration with our long-trusted partner TU Delft. The fund will provide a donation that will support research through the university's virtual Centre for Water Technology and Delta Resilience, which will be created to enable pioneering research to address global challenges. In addition to research, knowledge sharing, education and collaboration with other experts in the sector play an important role. The aim is to develop technologies that can be applied worldwide and contribute to a sustainable society. The first research project will be launched later this year.
