What you do as a Project Finance Accountant:
- Invoicing and automation: drive the invoicing process and limit the working capital positions for projects within your portfolio, continuously striving for process improvements to simplify and automate the invoicing process.
- Business control for Basic projects (contract amounts up to 100k EUR): assist with project budgeting, forecasting, reviewing contract documentation & work in progress balances by using Project Alert Dashboard and financial reports
- Act as a Finance Business partner: maintain a close working relationship with Project Managers on basic projects: take a proactive role in approaching and supporting Project Managers on project control & accounting topics.
- Reporting: learn how to use ERP systems (Agresso Business World), reporting tools for financial project performance (PowerBI) and our exclusive Project Health Check management system. You will have the possibility to follow PowerBI training sessions and possibility to improve current management reports or build your own!
- Policies, procedures & compliance: Ensure the quality of our project administration, perform internal control and compliance checks (contract documentation and invoicing)
- Financial control & (international) accounting: learn the basics on invoicing, taxation, international projects, dealing with foreign currencies, intercompany invoicing etc.
Where you will work:
- You will preferably be based in Amersfoort, Rotterdam or Nijmegen. You are flexible to work occasionally from different offices (for team meetings etc).

What you bring:
You are a recent graduate or about to graduate from your Bachelor or Associate degree in Finance & Control, Accounting or related field.
You are ambitious, take initiative, ownership and have a result driven mindset and are enthusiastic to grow and learn more. Additionally, you:
- Have work experience from 0-2 years in case of Bachelor/ associate level
- Are digitally savvy (you quickly pick up new systems and processes).
- Have a basic knowledge of related disciplines (Invoicing, automation and ERP/accounting systems)
- Have native verbal & written communication skills in Dutch; English is a plus
- Are client focused, communicate clearly and build & maintain relationships with Project managers and other stakeholders.
