Cruise Jetty
The Zaanse Schans is a historical location that attracts more than two million tourists every year. The cruise jetty was built in 2015 to facilitate the growing number of river cruise boats.

De Ooivaar
Cruise boats sail up the Zaan river from the IJ and moor alongside the windmill "De Ooivaar" in Zaandijk. A comfortable jetty takes the visitor in one swing under the Juliana bridge to the southern entrance of the Zaanse Schans.

Dynamic handrail
The handrail is dynamic in shape and varies in height so that it offers the visitor support where necessary and space where possible. In the evening, the entire jetty is illuminated from the stainless-steel handrail tube.
