Haskoning recognised with Silver Award for support of the Armed Forces community
The Ministry of Defence recognises Haskoning's ongoing commitment to veterans, reservists and military families through the Employer Recognition Scheme.
Haskoning is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Silver Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Award by the UK Ministry of Defence recognising its commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community and demonstrating that this support is not simply symbolic, but embedded within Haskoning’s workplace culture, policies and leadership.
Commenting on the achievement, Jon Robinson, UK Managing Director, said: “Receiving the Silver Employer Recognition Scheme Award is a significant milestone for Haskoning and reflects our continued commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community. The Silver Award recognises organisations that go beyond their Armed Forces Covenant pledges by actively demonstrating support for serving personnel, reservists, veterans, military spouses and families through their employment policies and workplace practices. It recognises employers that champion the value the Armed Forces community brings to the workplace and wider society.
Since signing the Armed Forces Covenant in 2022, Haskoning has continued to promote Forces-friendly employment practices, support colleagues who serve as reservists, and recognise the transferable skills, experience and leadership qualities that veterans bring to the organisation.
The award reflects Haskoning’s commitment and dedication to creating an inclusive workplace and aligns with the companies purpose of Enhancing Society Together by creating opportunities, fostering inclusion and making a positive contribution to the communities in which it works.
