Reflection of the vital role of women in our industry

Claire Davies, Emma Hick, and Eva van Maren are in the finals for categories:
Best Woman in Environment & Sustainability
Claire has extensive experience in providing environmental and consent advice for energy projects. She also leads on the implementation of the award-winning EnSis, a commitment management platform. Her work greatly impacts the industry by delivering 6.1GW of offshore wind projects at Dogger Bank and Norfolk Offshore Wind Farm.
Best Woman Consultant
Emma is an exceptional consultant in civil engineering, specialising in major flood and coastal improvement schemes. She has assessed economic benefits of schemes for the Environment Agency and Local Authorities across England and Wales. Currently Emma is leading a groundbreaking coastal management strategy for Scarborough.
Best Woman Civil Engineer
Eva excels in river and coastal engineering. She leads high-impact projects such as the North Portsea Island and Southsea Coastal Schemes, utilising innovative tools like Navisworks. Eva is also a dedicated mentor and ICE Delegated Engineer, guiding and supporting the next generation of engineers.
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 22 May 2025.
