The open-plan, collaborative workspace is located in the central business district of Makati, in Metro Manila, and reflects our growing team delivering across Water, Maritime, Energy and Infrastructure projects.

Haskoning has been active in the Philippines for more than 20 years – including major climate resilience projects like supporting the Philippines Reclamation Authority with disaster risk reduction in the wake of serious typhoons; alongside new projects in burgeoning sectors like offshore wind and supporting port infrastructure.

The new office is the second move in less than five years, reflecting the growth of our team in the Philippines from around 25 staff in 2021 to more than 80 today. The open-plan space features collaborative and breakout areas, shower facilities and a large kitchen and seating area to accommodate the Filipino cultural tradition of eating together every day.

Speaking about the new office, Trevor Morrish-Hale, Resident Director of Haskoning in the Philippines, said: “I’m so proud to be leading our team into this new office and chapter of our company’s growth.

It feels like the continuation of our journey, a culmination of many years of hard work and a confirmation that we have built a sustainable business in a country that has so much to offer the world, but plenty of challenges to navigate – which I believe we’re incredibly well placed to help them do.”

“More than anything, this move reflects the great work of our team here. At Haskoning we believe in our people and their potential and that’s why we want to put them in a space where they can flourish and thrive. Already I can see that happening, with impactful projects on the horizon, tackling climate change and flooding issues across the country under ADB funded projects for the Philippines Department of Public Works and helping the Philippines Department of Transport achieve much needed development of its maritime sector through sustainable and resilient ports financed by the World Bank. I look forward to seeing the team continue to grow and deliver for the Philippines.”
