Jasper de Wit wins Chief Value Officer of the Year 2025

15-10-2025
Our CFO, Jasper de Wit, has been named Chief Value Officer of the Year 2025. This award celebrates CFOs who demonstrate that creating positive impact and delivering strong business results can go hand in hand.

CVO Award

The Chief Value Officer Award, presented by the Impact Economy Foundation, recognises CFOs who lead the way in embedding purpose and sustainability into business strategy. This year, the award was given to three of the Netherlands’ most impact-driven CFOs: Arnold Mars (AFAS), Marike Bonhof (Ymere) and Jasper de Wit (Haskoning). Werner Schouten, Director of the Impact Economy Foundation, said: “These winners show that creating significant impact can be profitable.”

Great recognition

It’s a real honour to be named Chief Value Officer of the Year! This award is a great recognition of how we at Haskoning are working to create a better world — and a big motivation to keep going. I’m proud to help make our purpose: Enhancing Society Together, financially possible. And of course, congratulations to the other winners: Marike Bonhof and Arnold Mars!

Jury comments

Jasper has put purpose at the core of Haskoning’s business. He introduced the Purpose Matrix — a tool that looks at every project through its impact on climate change, biodiversity and natural systems, resources and circularity, social value and equality, and safety and well-being. He also led a rethink of how profits are shared: increasing profit-sharing for employees and committing more than 10% of annual profits to long-term research into climate and water technology. Jasper believes that focusing on purpose also delivers strong business results — and that mindset drives sustainable value for the company and society.
