Wave and tidal

Haskoning has worked in the sector for 20+ years. In this time, we have provided support to a number of milestone UK projects including:

• The world’s first grid connected tidal stream turbine – SeaGen, Marine Current Turbines
• The world’s first consented tidal stream array project - Islay Array, Scottish Power Renewables
• The world’s first consented wave array project – Lewis wave array, Aquamarine Power
• The world’s first consented tidal array demonstration site – Perpetuus Tidal Energy Centre (PTEC)
• Europe's largest consented tidal array demonstration site – Morlais, Menter Môn.

While Haskoning is best known for EIA and consenting successes, we provide a range of engineering, project support and financial consultancy services.

Haskoning have been in the forefront of the wave and tidal industry since its earliest days. We offer sector leading expertise in project development, EIA and consent support with technical and engineering support services.

Over the last 20 years we have developed a close relationship with many of the UK’s leading developers. We are also increasingly active in the global markets, in Asia and Australia.
