Our approach to fair work
Our approach to fair work reflects on how we operate every day - supporting our people, strengthening our culture, and contributing positively to the communities where we work across the UK. As a civil engineering consultancy, we recognise that skilled, motivated and supported people are essential to high quality project delivery.
We are committed to paying at least the Real Living Wage, providing effective channels for employee voice through our Company Council and UK Employee Webcasts, investing in learning and professional development, and promoting equality, diversity and inclusion through our Employee Resource Groups. We are actively and continuously identifying new opportunities to enhance supportive communities throughout Haskoning, promote both career growth and family life, and broaden the diversity and reach of our talent pipeline. Through family-friendly working practices we foster a respectful, inclusive working environment where people can thrive.
These commitments underpin our wider approach to social value, helping us deliver safer, more resilient infrastructure while supporting local economies and long-term wellbeing.
Fair work is not a standalone policy for us. It is part of how we deliver value for our people, our clients and society - and how we Enhance Society Together.
