At Haskoning’s Supply Chain & Logistics advisory group, we welcome curious interns who want to learn and contribute to real supply chain challenges. You will explore topics such as network design, data analysis, scenario planning, and optimization to help create smarter, more flexible, and sustainable supply chains. 

If you are looking for an internship where you can develop your knowledge in supply chain management and operations research, this could be a great opportunity for you. 

 

What will you do

As an intern, you will get the chance to work on one of our customized solutions using up-to-date customer data to analyse and improve supply chain networks or planning processes.  You will explore how changes in the customer’s supply chain impact overall performance and help identify practical improvements. 

Your internship topic may cover: 

  • Changing goods flows and customer demand
  • New distribution centres, suppliers, or markets
  • Capacity constraints in transport and storage
  • Scenario analysis and optimization
  • Data availability and quality
  • Balancing cost, service level, and sustainability 

We will define the internship topic together, based on your interests, skills, and our project needs. Off course, you are also encouraged to bring your own ideas or research questions that align with your ambitions and our consulting practice.

Where you will work

You will be based at our South Jakarta office, where you will work alongside the Supply Chain & Logistics team and collaborate with colleagues across our global network.

What you bring

  • Master’s student in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related fields.
  • Must still be an active university student and able to provide an official internship letter from the university.
  • Available for an internship period of 4–8 months.
  • Must have a valid stay permit in Indonesia.
  • Strong interest in supply chain, logistics, data analysis, optimization, and consulting.
  • Good analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working with data
  • Knowledge of Excel, Power BI, Python, simulation or optimization tools is a plus.

First interview

Follow-up

In the follow-up interview, we’ll dive deeper into you and the position. You’ll usually speak with different colleagues than in the first interview, giving you a broad impression of your potential new work environment. Depending on the role, we may ask you to complete an assessment. Sometimes, a third interview is also part of the process.

Welcome!

Are we both enthusiastic? Then we’ll finalise your contract and warmly welcome you. You’ll soon receive information about your first working day. During your onboarding period, you’ll be assigned a buddy who will help you find your way within our organisation.
