We are seeking a motivated Structural BIM Modeler to take responsibility for modelling and project output production, with authority to create and manage model information. This role will play a key part in delivering high-quality design outputs and ensuring smooth coordination across disciplines.

This position is part of our Industry & Buildings Advisory team and will be based in our office in Ho Chi Minh City.

What will you do

  • Modelling: Develop detailed 3D models (LOD 200-400) using Autodesk Revit/ Cad based on the specific assignments/ requirements of the responsible engineers.
  • Documentation: Generate accurate 2D technical drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and reinforcement/connection details.
  • Clash Detection: Participate in the coordination process, identifying and resolving spatial conflicts (clashes) with other disciplines (MEP, Architectural, or Structural) using Navisworks or Revit.
  • Family Creation: Create and maintain parametric Revit families to improve project efficiency and standardization.
  • Data Management: Ensure all BIM objects contain the necessary parameters and data for quantity take-offs (BOQ) and scheduling.
  • Standard Compliance: Adhere to company and project-specific BIM standards, naming conventions, and workflows.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or other related fields.
  • Experience in interpreting and producing technical drawing sets for construction projects, particularly in the industrial sector, is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with other applications (Navisworks, ACC, Python scripting) is beneficial.
  • Clear understanding of BIM (Building Information Modelling) is beneficial.
  • Open communication and good English (written and spoken).
  • Proactive and solution orientated with curiosity for relevant developments.
  • Willing to take courses and learning into scripting.
  • Actively seek advice and support from experts within Haskoning .
