What will you do as Strategic Advisory Intern Aviation
You will become part of our Strategic Advisory team, a group of aviation consultants and industry experts working on projects for airports and aviation clients around the world. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting project teams, contributing to client projects, and learning how strategic advice helps airports and aviation businesses improve and grow.
You will work alongside experienced consultants, helping to analyse data, prepare insights, and develop practical recommendations. Typical projects may include strategic management reports, market analyses and business plans, airport development strategies, operational improvement plans, transaction due diligence, value optimization, and implementation roadmaps.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the analysis of market, operational, and financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and data-driven insights for clients and project teams.
- Contribute to the development of business cases, strategic recommendations, and implementation plans.
- Work with colleagues from different disciplines and backgrounds on international aviation projects.
- Support project teams in delivering high-quality work and meeting project deadlines.
- Learn about client engagement, business development activities, and the aviation consulting industry.

You will be part of Strategic Advisory Practice in Delft, part of NACO, where we work with colleagues on airport projects in the Netherlands and for international clients. Working alongside our many experts, we deliver on projects for some of the busiest airports in the world.

What you bring
You are curious about the aviation industry and enjoy working with data to solve complex challenges. You have strong analytical skills, pay attention to detail, and are eager to turn information into practical insights and recommendations. You enjoy collaborating with others and are motivated to learn in a fast-paced, international consulting environment.
In addition, you bring:
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in data analysis, financial modelling, and strategic thinking.
- The ability to structure and present information clearly in PowerPoint presentations, reports, and other communication materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with colleagues from different backgrounds and cultures.
- A proactive and curious mindset, with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to project success.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- A good command of English, both written and spoken.
