This role offers the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of major port construction projects. You'll gain hands-on exposure to large-scale marine works, contribute to shaping vital infrastructure, and build expertise in a highly specialized field.

What will you do

  • Supervise and inspect marine construction activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements, specifications, approved drawings, and applicable standards.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality, and workmanship of marine works.
  • Review and verify contractors' construction methods, materials, and site activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Witness inspections, testing, and surveys related to marine construction works.
  • Identify and report construction issues, risks, delays, and non-conformances, and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Maintain site records, inspection reports, and progress documentation.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, authorities, and other project stakeholders.
  • Assist in project reporting, quality assurance activities, and handover of completed works.
  • Provide technical support to the supervision team to ensure successful project delivery.

As our new Site Inspector, you will become part of our supervision team in Cai Mep area, Ho Chi Minh City.

What you bring

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil, Marine, Coastal Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction supervision of marine, port, coastal projects.
  • Possession of a valid Construction Supervision Certificate (Minimum Grade III).
  • Good knowledge of marine construction methods, quality control, and HSE requirements.
  • Experience in site inspection, contractor supervision, and progress monitoring.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
  • Communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
