What will you do

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Verify EPC Contractor measurements and certify quantities as per contract requirements.
  2. Review IPCs, bills, milestone claims, and recommend payments.
  3. Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and cost variances.
  4. Verify quantity calculations, reconciliations, and material consumption.
  5. Assess variations, change orders, additional works, and claims.
  6. Maintain records of quantities, payments, variations, and claims.
  7. Verify measurements for civil, utility, electrical, and treatment plant works.
  8. Review revised quantities, rate analyses, and cost adjustment proposals.
  9. Support contract administration for measurements, payments, and variations.
  10. Monitor scope changes, quantity growth, and commercial risks.
  11. Conduct site inspections and joint measurements with stakeholders.
  12. Review measurement records and supporting documentation.
  13. Prepare cost estimates, variation assessments, and quantity forecasts.
  14. Coordinate with project teams for timely processing of commercial matters.
  15. Prepare periodic quantity, cost, variation, and payment reports.

What you bring

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  2. Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with 12 years of experience in a quantity surveying role.
  3. Postgraduate qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Contracts Management, or Project Management shall be preferred.
  4. Professional certification in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, Contracts Management, or related disciplines shall be desirable.
  5. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity measurement software.
  6. Knowledge of FIDIC, EPC Contracts, CPWD Specifications, MoRTH Specifications, and standard methods of measurement.
  7. Good report writing skills.
  8. Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
