What you will do as a Senior Project Manager (MCF/ Data Centres)

Collaborate proactively with global colleagues as you navigate the unique challenges of our Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) projects. Beyond standard building features, our projects demand specific and advanced knowledge, making your role crucial in delivering total success to green- and brown-field projects.

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Implementation of the project in accordance with the established project work schedule, contract with the client and with the budget;
  • Ensuring successful project delivery;
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, progress reports and other project-related records;
  • Taking corrective actions if necessary to keep the project on track;
  • Being the client's single point of contact, ensuring seamless communication;
  • Being at the forefront, developing business cases that seamlessly blend design and engineering;
  • Building and maintaining a trusted advisor status at the director level with client;
  • Leveraging your commercial acumen to foster sustainable client relationships and contribute to our continuous success;
  • Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration: Work within a cross-border, native, and home-based multidisciplinary team, managing projects that span across borders;
  • Engaging in projects spanning different countries, coordinating with diverse teams, subcontractors, and local cultures.

Our global Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) team provides a multidisciplinary package of consultancy services for our datacenter clients. We provide strategic, tactical, and operational advice to our clients, including colocation datacentres, internet service providers, and telecom companies. Our team consists of colleagues with all kinds of different expertise. For example, electrical engineering, sanitary engineering, construction, civil, structure, building, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, and security technology. Together we use our knowledge and expertise to develop integrated designs for Data Centres.

What you bring

As a Senior Project Manager (MCF/ Data Centres), we seek an entrepreneurial, results-driven individual with a proactive, positive, and flexible problem-solving attitude. Qualifications as a professional project manager, along with certifications such as IPMA or Prince, are desirable. Your impressive track record in managing medium to large-scale projects has cultivated a robust international network within relevant industries. A global mindset and willingness to undertake short-, medium-, and long-term assignments underscore the importance of an international CV. In this role, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for seamless adaptation to international and culturally diverse environments, allowing you to effectively mentor and coach other staff. Building and maintaining a trusted advisor status at the director level with clients is essential. As an entrepreneurial leader with a strong business acumen, you possess a clear market focus, prioritize client relationships, and recognize profitability and revenue potential in business opportunities. Additionally, your awareness of international standards and commitment to health, safety, and sustainability position you as an active promoter of these principles in your projects. Besides that, you have:

  • A background from a Technical University (civil, sanitary, electrical);
  • Over 6 years of experience in the management of multidisciplinary design and engineering and construction projects, preferably in the datacentres or other relevant sectors;
  • Affinity with digital and automated design and engineering process (BIM360, CDE);
  • Fluency in English and Polish;
  • Previous employment by a design and engineering company would be an advantage;
  • Openness to short-, medium-, or long-term international travel.
