As Senior Project Manager, you will lead complex, multidisciplinary projects across Indonesia and selected overseas locations. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end project delivery, client engagement, and financial and technical performance, while acting as a role model for project excellence within the organization.
You will work closely with local and regional teams and regularly collaborate with colleagues and clients across different countries, time zones, and cultures.
What will you do
- Developing comprehensive project plans, defining scope, schedule, cost and managing all project stages to completion.
- Controlling project financials, allocating resources effectively, and maintaining budgetary compliance.
- Identifying risks early, conducting proactive risk assessment, and developing mitigation strategies.
- Reporting progress to senior leadership (Client and Department Manager) and managing expectations of clients and stakeholders.
- Mentoring and coaching project staff, conducting hiring interviews, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Acting as internal quality control, ensuring deliverables meet Project objectives and quality standards.
- Prepare and Lead Proposal preparation; EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) and multi disciplinary type of Project within Indonesia and overseas.
- Lead the project communication external and internal.
- Act as Client Key account manager; maintain good and active communication toward the client beyond the project duration and act as Haskoning ambassadors toward the client.
- Act as escalation level / remote Project Director for selected projects with dedicated PM on weekly/monthly basis.
- Contributes to positive execution result of projects.
- Working with Haskoning standards and procedures.
- Liaise with different departments and function not limited to Finance, Legal and general corporate support.
Where you will work
This role involves regular interaction with regional and global teams and project travel within Indonesia and internationally, depending on project needs.
What you bring
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or master’s Degree, in Engineering (Industrial/ Mechanical/ Electrical/Chemical).
- At least 15 years of working experience in industrial field as Project Manager (Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverages, FMCG, etc.) is required for this position.
- Proven experience managing complex projects for multinational clients in sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, FMCG, or similar.
- Demonstrate excellent Project leadership skills on relatively complex projects.
- Experience of working within a large multinational organization, multi culture and different time zones.
- Solid experience with EPCM projects, construction sequencing, and site execution.
- Awareness of industry procedures and best practice.
- Good understanding of FIDIC contracts
- Excellent managerial, commercial and technical track record.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in multicultural, multinational environments.
- Knowledge and experience in contracting and procurement in FIDIC (red and yellow book) is referred.
- Have experience managing site activities
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Skills in Ms. Project for monitoring and managing project schedule
- High mobility and willingness to travel for project and client requirements, across Indonesia or abroad.
