We specialise in geo environmental support for complex infrastructure developments and operations. We have successfully supported our clients in delivering sustainable projects in sectors including energy, industry, restoration projects, residential and port redevelopment.

Due to continued growth in a variety of markets including onshore redevelopment we are looking to grow our team for various roles.

Job Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, optimistic, conscientious and talented individuals with excellent communication skills and technical ability in relation to the detailed geo environmental assessment reports for human health and controlled waters. We are presently looking to fill various roles due to our forward pipeline at a variety of levels.

About You

You will hold a degree in geology, engineering geology or a relevant environmental science discipline. It is also required that you have a full, preferably clean, driving licence.

The roles require a variety of skill sets which should include a combination of the attributes below:

  • Experience in the delivery and writing all levels of geo environmental reports to a high standard in accordance with Land Contamination Risk Management guidance 2025.
  • Writing of non-standard technical reports bespoke to project requirements.
  • A thorough working knowledge of the Thomas Telford Specification for Ground Investigation version 2 and version 3 (the Yellow Book).
  • Experience in supervising and managing ground investigation including soil and rock logging and gas and groundwater sampling and monitoring in contaminated land.
  • Undertaking of the role of Principal Designer and Investigation Supervisor.
  • An excellent understand of regulatory and legal requirements in relation to contaminated land.
  • Experience in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and the DCO process.
  • Experience in site selection and masterplanning.
  • Deemed to be competent under the National Planning Policy Framework in relation Contaminated Land.
  • Ability to technical review reports of all levels.
  • The ability to come up with outside the box solutions to problems.
  • Usage of QGIS and other digital software such as Open Ground, Leapfrog etc.
  • Experience in dealing with the planning process in relation to contaminated land.
  • Additional experience in hydrogeology, mineral safeguarding, waste issues and soil science.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational, analytical and time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
