What you do as a Senior Aviation Management Consultant (2 FTE)

You will become part of the airport strategy team, which brings together a diverse group of talented airport consultants, strategists, and subject matter experts. Collaborating closely, this team delivers comprehensive aviation advisory services to clients worldwide.

In this role, you will represent the company and lead teams, meet our international clients, understand their needs, build relationships, develop propositions and provide practical, innovative strategic and consultancy led solutions.

Your focus will be on producing high-quality work, often within tight timelines, supported by a network of multidisciplinary specialists. Typical outcomes may include strategic management reports, enhanced by substantiated expert input and detailed roadmaps outlining how to strategically transform or further develop their business or operations. These projects are designed to facilitate spin-off design-based projects and solutions associated with our company's more technically focused divisions.

You’ll be working in a team comprising junior and medior colleagues. In addition to collaborating on projects, you will be expected to provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to support their professional development. By sharing your insights and fostering a positive working environment, you will help empower your team members to grow within their roles and contribute effectively to the success of our aviation consultancy projects.

In addition, you:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for stakeholders throughout project delivery.
  • Develop key client accounts and client relationships
  • Contribute to thought leadership within the aviation sector.

You will be part of Aviation Future Services advisory group in Delft, part of NACO, where we work with colleagues on airport projects in the Netherlands and for international clients. Working alongside our many experts, we deliver on projects for some of the busiest airports in the world.

What you bring

You are an experienced professional who provides expert advice and guidance to organisations within the aviation industry. You typically help airlines, airports, and related businesses improve their operations, develop strategies, manage risks, and comply with regulations. Operational, business and digital transformation.

You are an experienced professional, offering expert advice and strategic guidance to organisations across the aviation sector. You work with airlines, airports, and associated businesses to enhance operational efficiency, develop forward-thinking strategies, manage risks, and ensure regulatory compliance. Your expertise spans (but not limited to) operational and / or digital transformation, helping clients achieve sustainable growth and adapt to evolving industry demands.

You enjoy working with data and have strong quantitative skills, including data analysis, financial modelling, and scenario planning. In addition, you bring:

  • 5-10 years of experience in aviation consulting and a degree in economics, transport planning, or business.
  • Strong client relationship skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging presentations, reports, and dashboards.
  • Great interpersonal skills for working with international clients and diverse internal teams.
  • Familiarity with aviation data sources, a plus, but not required.
