What will you do

 

  • Review and assess EPC contractor designs/drawings for compliance with IRC, MoRTH, and contract requirements.
  • Provide design review comments and recommend approval/rejection based on technical suitability and site conditions.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure works conform to approved drawings and specifications.
  • Verify construction methodologies for pavement works, including earthwork, subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, DLC, and PQC.
  • Monitor quality, testing activities, and implementation of the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP).
  • Identify deviations/non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Review contractor resources, progress, delays, risks, and mitigation measures.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
  • Review and recommend interim payments (RA bills) based on measured quantities, quality, and contract provisions.
  • Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, vendors, and government authorities to ensure smooth project execution.

What you bring

  1. Graduate in Civil Engineering and Master’s in Civil Engineering
  2. Minimum 15 years of progressive programme or project experience
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience on large-scale construction projects.
  4. Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental sustainability, and quality standards.
  5. Familiarity with best practices for quality and safety.

Follow-up

In the follow-up interview, we’ll dive deeper into you and the position. You’ll usually speak with different colleagues than in the first interview, giving you a broad impression of your potential new work environment. Depending on the role, we may ask you to complete an assessment. Sometimes, a third interview is also part of the process.
