Junior BIM Modeller (Transportation Infrastructure)

As a BIM modeller, you contribute to the improvement of international infrastructural projects. By working in multidisciplinary teams on integrated projects, you and others ensure that people and goods reach their destinations more safely, quickly, or sustainably. What will you do as a Junior BIM Modeller

Depending on your knowledge, experience, and personal preference, you will start with smaller design projects or larger design assignments in the field of bridges, tunnels, locks, or other civil structures. Within these integrated projects, you will play a prominent role in the 3D and 2D design process.

• You actively contribute to design choices and feasibility, ensuring high-quality detailing of the design.
• You develop tools and scripts and link (3D) information models. You use these within a multidisciplinary BIM environment or integral BIM model.
• You exchange knowledge and collaborate with specialists from your own department, as well as other departments such as Water, Maritime, Aviation, or Industry & Buildings.

You will work at the office in Ho Chi Minh City, or at the project location of our clients. Incidental international travel may be required.

What you bring

An ideal candidate should possess strong critical thinking skills, be result-oriented, take ownership, excel in problem-solving, and can work independently. Additionally, the following qualifications and competencies are essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, transport engineering or other related fields.
• Proficiency in using 3D design software (ex: Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD or Tekla).
• Knowledge of drawing production, standard construction techniques and structural design principles.
• Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese for effective communication.
• Ability to effectively carry out work under pressure (time) and have high standards for the quality and quantity of his/her work.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt, with a proactive, highly independent, can-do attitude, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
