What will you do

Role Overview

The Health & Safety Expert will lead and monitor HSE compliance for the Orvakal Industrial Area Project, ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to statutory, contractual, and project-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor project HSE requirements.
  • Conduct site safety inspections and audits.
  • Review Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Safe Work Procedures.
  • Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and HSE awareness programs.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response planning.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and contractual HSE requirements.
  • Monitor contractor HSE performance and compliance.

What you bring

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline.
  • Professional HSE certification preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in occupational health, safety, and environment management on major infrastructure projects.
  • Thorough understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices.
