     We are looking for an experienced site quality inspector / QAQC who will become part of our site-based team in the Philippines. Our site office is located in Tarlac City and will oversee the construction of a major industrial plant of a global beverage brand. The expected project duration is around 12-14 months with a chance for extension (depending on the project). Housing allowance may also be provided. What you do as site quality inspector / QAQC

     The site quality inspector / QAQC reports directly to the construction manager and is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes and standards, and approved quality procedures.


Major tasks and responsibilities include:

  • implements and monitors the project QA/QC system and inspection procedures
  • reviews method statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), material submittals, and shop drawings for compliance with project requirements
  • conducts site inspections and witnesses testing activities to verify compliance with approved specifications and quality standards
  • coordinates inspections with contractors, consultants, and client representatives
  • monitors construction works to ensure compliance with approved procedures, drawings, and quality requirements
  • identifies non-conformances (NCRs) and follows up corrective and preventive actions
  • maintains inspection records, quality documentation, and testing reports
  • supports punch listing, defect verification, and close-out activities
  • assists in preparation and verification of as-built documentation and handover dossiers
  • coordinates closely with Construction, HSE, and discipline supervisors to ensure quality compliance across all project activities
  • familiarity with ISO 9001
  • experience with ITPs/NCR workflows
  • vendor inspection coordination
  • commissioning support interface

     The project for this role involves the construction of an industrial plant of a major beverage client. The client is a global iconic beverage brand with more than 33,000 people from over  70 nationalities across all offices in the world. Haskoning Vietnam has been tasked to manage the construction of this project in coordination with Haskoning Philippines as the site location is in Tarlac City. You will become part of the Construction Management and Supervision team led by an internationally experienced construction director from the Netherlands who is based in Vietnam and working with around 23  other staff in the site office. What you bring

     As a site quality inspector / QAQC, you will work closely with the construction manager in ensuring quality in the construction of the industrial plant. For this position, you need to have the following competencies/skills:

 

  • bachelor's degree graduate of any Engineering course (or any construction management course) (master’s degree is a nice to have)
  • 8–12 years QA/QC experience in industrial projects
  • strong knowledge of ISO standard
  • experience with inspections, testing, and commissioning
  • certifications similar to (e.g., CQI) is preferred
  • English communication skills
