What will you do
- Design and review high‑voltage (33 kV, 66 kV, 132 kV, 220 kV, 400 kV) systems, including GIS/AIS substations, switchyards, power transformers, HV switchgear, and protection systems. Perform system studies, including load flow, short‑circuit, relay coordination, and stability analysis.
- Design LT power distribution, including MCCs, PCCs, LV switchgear, distribution boards, capacitor banks, harmonic filters, and internal power networks for buildings, industries, and utilities.
- Prepare/ review engineering deliverables such as SLDs, schematics, load lists, equipment sizing, layouts, BOQs, and cable schedules, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and engineering integrity.
- Drive procurement activities by preparing material requisitions, preparing tender specifications, and conducting technical bid evaluations
- Preparation of design basis, specifications, datasheets, design calculations, and construction layouts submitted by the contractor as a part of detailed engineering. Review of design and datasheets for electrical equipment submitted by the manufacturer/OEM/package vendor.
- Reviewing vendor drawings, witnessing FATs, and ensuring adherence to international standards.

What you bring
Experience in Design of:
- HT systems (33kV to 400kV), including GIS/AIS substations, protection systems, transformers, and HV cabling.
- LT distribution systems, MCCs, PCCs, panels, UPS systems, and internal power distribution.
- Electrical system analysis using ETAP, AMTECH, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in complying with state regulatory requirements, including adherence to MERC guidelines and MSETCL/MSEDCL standards, vendor approval criteria, technical circulars, and utility‑level design vetting processes
- Graduate in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of progressive programme or project experience.
- Additional certification in Instrumentation, Control Systems, Power Systems, or Automation (desirable).
