Vacancy Intro

We are looking for a Senior Business Development professional to drive market growth and strengthen client relationships within the engineering consulting industry. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, supporting proposal development, and collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve sales targets.

 

What will you do

  • Market Growth & Sales: Proactively identify and capture new business opportunities within existing and prospective client portfolios to achieve defined sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as a key ambassador for the company, maintaining strong ties with industry partners and stakeholders to ensure a competitive edge.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Participate in weekly and monthly sales strategy meetings, providing data-backed insights and presentations to support business findings.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in high-level internal discussions (including sessions with our NL Senior BD team) and external workshops to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Administrative Support: Support the Proposal Manager in creation of comprehensive, high-quality proposals, create "Minutes of Meeting”.
  • Marketing & Engagement: Support marketing initiatives, including industry events and content creation, to enhance brand visibility.

What you bring

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in business development, consultancy, or project leadership within Industry & Buildings.
  • Proven track record of winning complex projects with multinational clients.
  • Strong regional market knowledge and established business network.
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior client stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of consultancy and engineering services and commercial models Strong ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and cross‑border teams, collaborating with colleagues across countries and cultures.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written.
