What will you do as a Civil and Geotechnical Design Engineer

• Civil and geotechnical design work in general.
• Understanding the geotechnical field to calculate and assess foundation solutions.
• Preparing cut and fill works including infrastructure of industrial project by Civil 3D.
• Designing and checking the capacity of concrete and steel structures.
• Making calculations by hand and by using computer software (D-sheet, D-sheet, D-pile, Excel), priority to candidates for coding people.
• Drawing of the design in Revit/Civil 3D and AutoCAD, preferred to candidates for Revit/Civil 3D knowledge.
• Working in a project team and cooperating with the team members of various disciplines such as architect and M&E in preparing an integrated design, models, and presentation pictures. Participate in project meetings.
• Preparing, reviewing, and developing technical specifications.
• Project costing including quantity measurement, tender evaluation, produce and price Bills of Quantities.
• Managing interactions with other disciplines/departments as well as external parties i.e. clients, local authorities, contractors.
• Assisting Team leaders/Department manager for project planning and monitoring and internal staff.
• Assisting the Department manager in the preparation of proposals and contracts.

What you bring

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or other related fields.
• Minimum 5 years in the field of civil and geotechnical design, preferred for candidates with experience in industrial projects and with the road (flexible and bridge), foundation design, filling, and cutting.
• Experienced in foreign companies, familiar with international standards and Vietnam design standards is a plus.
• Excellent spoken and written English and Vietnamese.
• Proficient in using D-sheet, D-settlement, D-pile, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, and be able to code as well.
• Effectively carries out work under pressure (time) and has high standards for the quality and quantity of his/her work.
• Eager to learn and adapt, with a proactive, highly independent, can-do attitude, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
