We are looking for a skilled HVAC Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of HVAC systems across various projects. In this role, you will work closely within the engineering design team and collaborate with other disciplines to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with technical requirements, company standards, and applicable regulations. The position involves performing HVAC load calculations, supporting equipment selection, and contributing to system design activities. You will be responsible for preparing and assisting in the completion of engineering deliverables such as drawings, models, schedules, and technical specifications. As part of the engineering team, you will contribute to the execution of mono- or multi-disciplinary engineering activities, support project teams during design phases, and work under the guidance of senior engineers while continuously developing your technical expertise.
What will you do
• Design Support: Assist in the design and development of HVAC systems for various building types, including load calculations, equipment selection, and system layout preparation under supervision. • Project Support: Support HVAC projects from concept through completion by assisting senior engineers to meet project schedules and budget requirements. • Technical Support: Provide technical support to the project team and work under the guidance of experienced engineers. • Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate with architects, contractors, other engineering disciplines, and internal project teams as required. • Compliance: Support the application of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards in HVAC designs. • Analysis Assistance: Assist with HVAC system analysis and basic performance optimization tasks to support energy efficiency objectives. Specific Tasks • Calculations: Perform basic HVAC calculations and analysis using industry-standard software under supervision. • Equipment Selection: Assist in selecting and specifying HVAC equipment based on project requirements and guidance from senior engineers. • System Design: Support the development of HVAC system designs, including drawings, schedules, and technical specifications. • Site Support: Participate in site visits and inspections to understand site conditions and support issue resolution. • Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying and resolving issues related to HVAC systems. • Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documents, reports, and design deliverables. • Cost Support: Assist in preparing cost estimates and supporting project budget reviews. • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders under supervision.

What you bring
• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution • Initial experience or exposure to mechanical building services and HVAC system design (through work experience, internships, or graduate programs) • Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles and building services systems • Familiarity with engineering software such as BIM and/or CAD is an advantage • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team • Willingness to learn, follow technical guidance, and apply engineering standards and procedures • Ability to support design activities and assist in resolving technical issues under supervision
