As an HR Officer (temporary contract), you’ll join our People Services team, where we focus on delivering excellent hire-to-retire (H2R) support and being a trusted first point of contact for employee inquiries. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth and supportive HR operations.

Our global HR team includes over 100 professionals, each bringing unique expertise. In Jakarta, you’ll be part of a small, friendly team of three, where collaboration and openness are part of our everyday culture. We’re a large organisation with a flat structure, short lines of communication, and a relaxed, no-tie atmosphere.

What will you do

This is a temporary contract for 6 months. Together with your colleagues, you will be delivering in hire-to-retire administration, you’ll be the go-to person for employee lifecycle support—from onboarding to offboarding. You’ll manage HR systems and documentation, respond to employee inquiries, ensure data accuracy, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver smooth, compliant, and people-focused HR services.

To do this successfully together, the team carries out the following activities:

1. Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Manage new joiner and leaver data in HR systems (AFAS Profit).
  • Prepare and issue employment contracts, guarantee letters, and reference letters.
  • Support the preparation of job offers and employment condition proposals
  • Coordinate onboarding formalities and exit processes

2. HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records and update HR databases.
  • Process any contractual, job and personal data changes (and issue any supporting documents if needed)

3. Employee Support & Case Handling

  • Act at the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Handle queries via centralized knowledge and case management systems
  • Generate regular and ad hoc HR reports
    Ensure data accuracy and integrity in HR systems.

What you bring

You bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Up to 1–2 years of experience in HR operations or administrative roles (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and a basic understanding of local labor laws and HR compliance is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English—both written and verbal.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Comfort working in a multicultural, cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
