We are looking for a GIS Intern to join our Water & Resilience Team in the Ho Chi Minh office. This internship can be full-time or part-time and offers opportunities to work with GIS data, maps, and analysis tools. You’ll bring theory into practice while being coached by experienced experts in the field of flood risk and water resilience.

What will you do

  • Participate in projects related water resources management, flood risk management, and flood early warning system.
  • Work with GIS data, maps, data analysis tools.
  • Support Team Leader, Project Manager to manage the projects.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

What you bring

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Environmental Science, Geodesy and Cartography, Geoinformatics / GIS, Civil Engineering, Water Resources, or a related field.
  • Basic familiarity with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and spatial data handling.
  • Ability to work with data, maps, and simple analysis tools.
  • Available for a 6-month internship.
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English and Vietnamese.

Follow-up

In the follow-up interview, we’ll dive deeper into you and the position. You’ll usually speak with different colleagues than in the first interview, giving you a broad impression of your potential new work environment. Depending on the role, we may ask you to complete an assessment. Sometimes, a third interview is also part of the process.

Are we both enthusiastic? Then we’ll finalise your contract and warmly welcome you. You’ll soon receive information about your first working day. During your onboarding period, you’ll be assigned a buddy who will help you find your way within our organisation.
