About our Maritime Business:

Our maritime team is at the forefront of innovative maritime planning, design and development. We are multidisciplinary experts working on international projects to create successful ports and maritime infrastructures around the world. We have provided expert commercial, technical and operational advice and created master plans across five continents for a wide range of port projects.

We are one of the largest and most experienced teams of port planning professionals globally and are world leaders in the production of port feasibility studies and master plans. From our maritime offices in different Worldwide locations, we lead all of the company's shipyard projects by collaborating with colleagues around the world.

What you bring

  • Graduated, collegiate and qualified Civil Engineer. (Excluding)
  • English, spoken and written at Advanced (Excluding)
  • PMP Certification (Excluding)
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in the development of shipyard infrastructure, such as heavy docks, dry docks, floating docks, or ship lifts (Excluding)
  • Experience developing port projects (Desirable)

Functions:

  • Manage all sized projects and deliver successful outcomes
  • Help develop and apply best practices in project and design management.
  • Liaison and coordination with other Project Managers and Project Teams
  • Support for business development, including input into tenders and proposals
  • Project design management, achieving profitable program results
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures
  • Design and manage documentation to support design delivery (project management plan, schedule, RFI record, risk and opportunity record, etc.).
  • Management of the business aspects of projects, including proactive change control procedures and maintenance of project finances.
  • Assist in the development of good techniques/systems for project management
  • Help ensure design reviews are carried out for projects
  • Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals when necessary
  • Oversee delivery in relation to client instructions and produce design reports, design schedules, deliverable records, reporting internally and to the client.
  • Deliver small and medium-sized multi-disciplinary design projects for clients, ensuring excellent technical delivery versus instructions in accordance with RHDHV management systems
  • Manage and coordinate internal design resources, facilitate design meetings with internal and external designers
  • To ensure business control over design projects that involve setting project budgets, assigning rate targets, tracking fee spend, performing change controls to achieve cost-effective results.
  • Assist in bid preparation, including involvement of RHDHV design teams
  • Act as a key interface with clients in assigned projects, understanding and looking for opportunities.
